Edit summaries

[edit]

Hey, Iggy; good job on keeping the vandals at bay on DuckTales. Don't neglect the edit summaries, though. It helps other editors get an sense of what's going on without having to click to view each and every individual change. Again, keep it up! —BrianSmithson 21:47, 1 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, I'm working on an IRC bot that reads off wikipedia. It's not encoding properly so I'm using this to test it. – Iggy Koopa 20:03, 22 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'm done now so I removed it. – Iggy Koopa 20:04, 22 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Colemak

[edit]

Do you use Colemak? It seems from your edits to its article that you may do. If so, you may be interested to know that there's now a Colemak infobox you can add to your user page if you want to. Just add {{user colemak}}. Snthdiueoa (talk) 21:31, 10 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I do. Thank you so much. I'll add it right away. — Iggy Koopa (talk) 23:30, 10 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. As promised yesterday, at the meetup, I went home and did research; unfortunately it looks like there really is only that one real independent reliable source article covering Colemak in any depth. That's probably enough for the current section in the keyboard layout article, but not to recreate it as a separate article. Sorry. --GRuban (talk) 15:48, 16 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hello! This is pretty disappointing news to me but I understand completely. I think, like I said, the only thing that bothers me is that the corresponding article can exist on other language Wikis with that amount of citations. The Spanish one is pretty in-depth, I think. Hopefully it'll get enough coverage in the future to meet the general notability guidelines. By the way, it was nice meeting you! -- Iggy Koopa (talk) 16:09, 16 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Eli's gender

[edit]

Could you please not change Eli's gender to female at Let the Right One In (film) again before motivating it properly? There isn't even incidental evidence of his being a girl, and I have explained this at some length on the talkpage.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Are you dead?

[edit]

The Colemak IRC channel misses you and your contributions on Wikipedia stopped at the end of 2010. If you're still alive it'd be pretty neat to have some indication of that. Ethana2 (talk) 06:38, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
