Radio[edit]

WP:NOTDIR #3. The reason it's viewed as advertising is because most local radio programs aren't encyclopedically notable. There's very little reason to include that information that doesn't boil down to a station trying to promote itself through free advertising — and it's not easily maintained, either, because it depends on somebody choosing to update the schedule when hosts change.

The practice applied by Wikiproject Radio Stations is to list only programs that could potentially qualify for their own separate Wikipedia articles in accordance with WP:N. If a program isn't notable enough for its own article, then it isn't notable enough that anybody outside of the station's existing audience needs the information. And the fact that it's present in some articles doesn't justify adding it to more — any other stations which contain current program schedules should have that information removed. AfD nomination of Cory Kimm[edit]

Ambox warning pn.svg

I have nominated Cory Kimm, an article you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Cory Kimm. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. -- Suntag 10:37, 17 October 2008 (UTC) -- Suntag 10:37, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Manta Swim Club[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Manta Swim Club, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Fails WP:CLUB

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Ambox warning blue.svg Thanks for uploading File:Manta Swim Club.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. Disambiguation link notification for April 30[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited CITI-FM, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Classic Rock (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:51, 30 April 2012 (UTC)
