Hi AngusWOOF - really appreciate you reviewing and getting back to me so quickly on this.
As a first time creator I’m a bit puzzled by the feedback to be honest as I’d tried, as much as possible, to copy the same template and style of the other thirty or so walks and hikes in the ‘Long-distance footpaths in Scotland ‘. I don’t see a huge difference between, say, ‘The Clyde Walkway’ (which is included and given its own page) and the Edinburgh walk w
(which you’ve turned down).
Could you advise? Jamborod (talk) 19:42, 16 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
AngusWOOF - thanks for feedback and suggested changes. Will review and resubmit. Have a good Christmas. Jamborod (talk) 09:09, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

AncientNestor - thanks very much for the message and the positive news. Much appreciated.
Regarding the final change ‘WP:ELMIN is applied to the ==External links== section’ is this something I need to do? As a relative ‘newbie’ is there somewhere you could point me to so I can apply it?
Many thanks 2A00:23C8:7295:4001:64B8:44E1:EC54:590C (talk) 11:54, 23 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It's just a matter of reading the criteria at WP:ELMIN and deleting the ones that don't meet that standard—most should go.
The basic accept/decline standard is set out here and this would indicate a "pass", but I see that other reviewers (more experienced than I am) have other criticisms; you could try to deal with those at the same time.

Have finally got round to trimming the external sources as per your recommendation. I've left in two - link to Edinburgh's architecture and green spaces which seem to me to be good guides to the main terrain/features of the walk. Hope that works for you and thanks again for reviewing/feedback. Jamborod (talk) 10:02, 10 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
