User talk:Jay Leon
Hi, Jay -- Welcome to Wikipedia! I noted your edits to the Curation article, and wanted to let you know that this isn't an actual standard Wikipedia article; it's a disambiguation page (or "dab page", for short), which rather than being a content article, is a tool for redirecting readers to content articles. (Dab pages address the problem of there being multiple topics that might share a single name. "Curation", in this example, could be the name of any of several content articles, so this page acts as a switchboard for letting readers find the one article they're actually looking for.)
Dab pages have a set of guidelines for editors that are much different than standard articles; take a look at the "Disambiguation Dos and Don'ts" page for a quick overview.
Because of this, I reverted your edits to Curation and its talk page. Don't take this as a negative critique; most editors (including me) have had edits reverted as they learned about the ins and outs of Wikipedia.

Hi Jay -- please take a look at the information I added above.
You've now added a definition of "curation" to the Curation disambiguation three times. Material like this does not belong on dab pages; it would be more appropriate to create a separate article about this aspect of curation, and then link to that article.
A good place to start might be:
...take a look at that page to see what the typical process would be. Keep in mind that new pages are reviewed, and are subject to deletion if the topic's relevance isn't established through verifiable references.

Hi Jay, I've reverted your edit to the disambiguation page Curation again. This sort of dictionary definition is not appropriate on a Disambiguation page, which is a list of articles which may be referred to by the ambiguous term (in this case "curation"). If you have content to add to the encyclopedia, you should create a separate, new article first for that content, then link that article on the Curation page once it's been created, as NapoliRoma explained above.
What does and does not belong on a disambiguation page is explained further in the Manual of Style; see WikiPedia:Manual of Style/Disambiguation pages.
