Why are you playing with my talk page?

What the hell was this[1] about? Why are you editing my talk page, to reinsert messages that I had deleted, and make it seem like someone had just added a new message to my talk page? Please don't delete postings from your talk page. These postings were not put on your talk page to annoy you; they were placed there because another editor has noticed an issue with your behaviour that may require improvement. They are a method of communication and user talk pages stand as a record of communication with you. Your user talk page is not yours to control, and cherry-picking its content so that you will be shown in a positive light is a violation of Wikipedia:Vandalism. If you do not believe the postings were valid or have a question about improving your behaviour you can respond here or visit the help desk. Obviously, from what you say, you didn't bother to read my talk page, as I don't care one way or another whether there is negative stuff about me on it. However, as you made an assumption based on your failed reading of my talk page, my talk page history, and my contributions history, I am going to assume that you didn't bother to read any of the policy you are quoting. I suggest you do so, read the policy you are quoting, as Wikipedia editors are allowed to remove things from their talk pages, all sorts of things, and this has been discussed to death on Wikipedia, and you should have come across this information, had you been reading. In the meantime I will cherry pick my talk page as I see fit, and you can find someone else to troll. KP Botany 03:47, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

The relevant policy you could have read had you searched for it:

Ownership and editing of pages in the user space As a tradition, Wikipedia offers wide latitude to users to manage their user space as they see fit. However, pages in user space still do belong to the community: .... 'Policy does not prohibit users from removing comments from their own talk pages, though archiving is preferred. Please note, though, that the removal of good-faith warnings, even though permitted, is often frowned upon.

Warnings are the little stop signs you see on people's pages sometimes, not comments from other editors, whether negative or positive. Please don't advise people about Wikipedia policies when you have not read them, and please don't make baseless assumptions (that my talk page is cherry picked to make me appear in a positive light) when you have failed to gather the information right in front of you (negative comments elsewhere on my talk page, and the policy you claim to be quoting to me). I can't imagine why you came to my talk page and resubmitted a weeks old comment to make it look as if that poster had just added a brand new message to my talk page, but this is the sort of thing that should get a vandalism warning: editing a page to make yourself appear as someone else, to fan the flames of a battle to which you did not belong, and which has ended. Please stay out of it, it being something long over with, that has nothing to do with you, or whatever it is you are on about. One of the most useful policies on Wikipedia comes in WP:Dispute Resolution: disengage. Dr. Submillimeter and I got over our dispute, it's time for you to stop trying to keep it going. Orphaned fair use image (Image:Att_horizontal.PNG)

Thanks for uploading Image:Att_horizontal.PNG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. Duplicate images uploaded

Thanks for uploading Image:Att horizontal.PNG. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:ATT Header Logo Cropped.PNG. The copy called Image:ATT Header Logo Cropped.PNG has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and remember exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. Yes, you did. I readded it to AT&T in this edit 21:22, 24 April 2007 (UTC), and it was removed in this edit 02:39, 27 April 2007 (UTC) (having lasted 2 days, 5 hours, 17 minutes). I have readded it in this edit 05:31, 30 April 2007 (UTC), again attempting to alleviate the concerns raised by the remover. I'll be keeping a close eye on the article's history page.   — Jeff G.
