A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Jenaaliyah/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Information icon Hello, I'm QueerEcofeminist. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. QueerEcofeminist "cite! even if you fight"!!! [they/them/their] 17:25, 7 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:IFS Capital Ltd, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Jenaaliyah. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. QueerEcofeminist "cite! even if you fight"!!! [they/them/their] 01:49, 9 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Some proposed changes

{connected contributor (paid)}

(Long restoration of promotional draft text and "request edit" template removed ~ ToBeFree (talk) 19:11, 9 March 2020 (UTC))[reply]

JenTjah 04:19, 9 March 2020 (UTC)

Hi Jenaaliyah, I have removed the above request because it did not appear to be constructive. The {{request edit}} template is meant for existing articles, and can be placed on an existing article's talk page. The {{connected contributor (paid)}} template is meant for article talk pages as well, and requires parameters. The template page contains examples of valid usage.
I strongly recommend not editing about your employer. Continuing to attempt publishing promotional articles can lead to you being blocked from editing, possibly without further warning.
If you are interested in contributing to this encyclopedia in a non-biased way unaffected by any conflict of interest, about topics you have no financial relation to, see the community portal and the Task Center for ideas.
Thank you very much for your understanding and best regards,
~ ToBeFree (talk) 19:16, 9 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
