@Jfedit: Your best bet is to read the welcome page, which provides information about contributing constructively to Wikipedia. I will say that writing an uncited apology for Johrei is not the way to go. Ogress smash! 01:30, 10 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A question about your username[edit]

Does the JF in Jfedit stand for Johrei Foundation? Ian.thomson (talk) 01:43, 2 August 2017 (UTC) No - "JF" stands for Johrei Fellowship. it is a non-profit religious group. I am directly involved with the organization. I fail to understand what was/is so controversial about the information posted regarding Johrei and the history of Johrei. Thank you.[reply]

Still, the block applies because this account represents an organization instead of an individual. You know how to undo edits so you know how to restore the instructions to be unblocked. Ian.thomson (talk) 23:53, 2 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I am still unclear as to why a small organization such as ours would be targeted for this kind of scrutiny, but if the name/account "jfedit" is an issue I can delete it. There is nothing sinister, divisive or discriminatory in our work and mission. I also didn't realize that all the contributions to Wikipedia were exclusively objective and not contributed by entities that have any special interest in any said matter - intentional or unintentional. Our email address is info@johreifellowship.org should you wish to inquire further. Additionally, I am not very tech savvy so if you can provide instructions as to how to delete this (jfedit) account I would be appreciative. I saw above that one has to sign with Jfedit (talk) 19:10, 9 August 2017 (UTC) so I hope I am following the guidelines. Peace be with you and yours.[reply]
