October 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not attack other contributors, as you did with this edit to Talk:Kentucky Rangers. You may wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you.   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 20:29, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the statement and then you reverted it. Why? Jim Steele (talk) 20:38, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Pittsburgh event for Wikipedia's tenth anniversary[edit]

Hi! Since you're listed as a Wikipedian in Pittsburgh, I wanted to invite you to the Wikipedia Tenth Anniversary celebrations we're having in Pittsburgh on Saturday, January 15. During the daytime, we're going to be having a photo contribution drive where anyone can bring in their digital photos or prints and Wikipedians will teach people how to upload them and add them to articles, and maybe introduction to Wikipedia workshops as well. Then in the evening, we'll have fun at the Carson City Saloon. There will be free Wikipedia t-shirts and other goodies, as well. See the Pittsburgh meetup page for more details. I hope to see you there!--ragesoss (talk) 15:14, 1 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Cheerleader Ninjas for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Cheerleader Ninjas is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Cheerleader Ninjas until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article.

Proposed deletion of Kentucky Rangers[edit]

The article Kentucky Rangers has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No claim for notability. Orphaned since 2009. No references since 2012 request. This is apparently a run-of-the-mill organization within a university.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Stevie is the man!
