Tina Götschi moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Tina Götschi, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the prompts on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. ... discospinster talk 22:38, 14 October 2020 (UTC)

[edit] As previously advised, your edits, such as the edit you made to Melanie Perkins, give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:JoannaAda, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=JoannaAda|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. signed, Rosguill talk 21:23, 21 October 2020 (UTC)
- Hi User:Rosguill, thanks for reaching out. I'm a little bit confused (and perhaps you can help me as I'm very new to Wikipedia editing!), firstly I am not being paid to edit, nor do I have a financial stake in promoting Melanie Perkins. Secondly, to my knowledge, I have never been 'previously advised' or 'asked to cease editing'- if this is the case, would you be able to point me in the direction of where/when this has happened? A couple of my articles have been taken down for not being notable enough or not having enough sources, but as I understand it, I've never had anyone ask me whether I was being paid to edit. The only thing I can think is that the page for Melanie Perkins already had an alert bar at the top (apologies, I'm not sure the official term) saying that it might have been initially written by someone who was being paid. I then made a few minor additions/edits- but I am not affiliated with either Melanie Perkins or the person/people who originally wrote the article. Would you mind firstly explaining where/when I've been notified about this in the past, and secondly what specifically I have done to make you think I'm being paid to edit so that I can avoid this in future? I am very new to Wikipedia editing and would like to get better! Thanks! --JoannaAda (talk) 09:26, 22 October 2020 (UTC)
- My apologies, I think I clicked on the wrong template-level for this warning. I thought I had left a template that didn't include the bit about prior warnings. Just to wrap up here, can you also confirm whether you have any other connection to Melanie Perkins? signed, Rosguill talk 16:40, 22 October 2020 (UTC)
- No problem, thanks for getting back to me. And no have I have no connection whatsoever with Melanie Perkins. Thanks. --JoannaAda (talk) 09:28, 23 October 2020 (UTC)
