Hello John Warner Smith, and welcome to Wikipedia! I have moved your userpage to Draft:John Warner Smith and added a "Submit for review" button to it. If you click that button, the draft can be submitted for review by experienced editors. However, the draft could not be accepted in its current state. Wikipedia requires that all articles meet the notability guidelines, especially the notability guidelines for people in your case. We also require that articles about living people be well-sourced. As your draft currently cites no reliable sources, it fails both those requirements. You will have to improve it by adding examples of when reliable sources have talked about you. In general, we recommend that you do not write articles about yourself, because it is hard for you to write about yourself neutrally. The article about you can also be changed by anyone. Please read WP:AUTOBIO and WP:ASFAQ for more on this. -- AntiCompositeNumber (Leave a message) 03:25, 25 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:John Warner Smith, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:32, 19 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:John Warner Smith

[edit]

Hello, John Warner Smith. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "John Warner Smith".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 14:00, 17 January 2018 (UTC)I h[reply]

Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, John Warner Smith, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited appears to be an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. Your user page, however, is a great place to write about yourself, making sure to stay within user page guidelines. Just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit it normally.

The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page. If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to it, please propose the changes on its talk page.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome!
