copied here from this post left on my talk page, to keep thread together
You denied my edit that i attempted to add to a discovered dead link. The page that I pointed it to was extremely relevant. You also called it spam without explaining in any further. I already understand that the links are no follow.. Provide me with an explanation. After you do so, I will remove my account. I am a business owner / manager and work with hundreds of companies across the nation and have never came across a group of individuals that show so much disrespect and lack of quality moderation. It's funny that I have another account under a different company and very rarely get my edits rejected. With this account it appears that there is some bias. Hi! Thanks for talking - that is the essence of what we do here. Whew, lots to talk about. I guess we can focus first on the content, then maybe I can help you understand this place a bit better.
OK, so the link that was already there, stuck at the top of the reference section, actually had no place there. We don't put external links in that location in any article. And it was just spam advertising the Medelearn company. It wasn't about the Healthcare Industry; it contributed no encyclopedic knowledge. (Our mission here is to provide the public with summaries of accepted knowledge. The mission is described here: WP:NOT - which also describes all the things Wikipedia is not. Please do read that).
That link was spammed into Wikipedia in this dif, by an IP editor - that was their only contribution to WP per their contribs. They did that just today. Then you came along just a little while later, and changed it to another website that is just as irrelevant to teaching people what the Healthcare Industry is. Your edit was spam also. Please see WP:SPAM.
Does that answer your question? Once you reply, and please reply here, there are other things we should discuss. Thanks. Jytdog (talk) 00:50, 27 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
