Arlington Court Community
[edit]Hi, John, welcome to wiki. Have you thought about adding material on the community to the Charleston, West Virginia page? Consolidated descriptions of neighborhoods and communities often work best for smaller cities. See Neighborhoods of Davenport, Iowa for a good example.
Also, reliable sources are required for all of our content here, so be sure to add references for every claim.
Thanks,

- Thanks, yes--I did include two reliable source citations in my original post (since deleted); two articles from the Charleston Gazette ("state newspaper" of the capital city of Charleston, West Virginia, and Charleston, West Virginia's largest daily newspaper) about Arlington Court: http://www.wvgazette.com/Life/201304060104 and http://www.sundaygazettemail.com/Life/Peoplelife/201304060107?page=1 . (I realize that these citations may not be to Wikipedia standards; I will go back and edit them to agree with required syntax, etc., in the very nearest future.)Johnwstreet (talk) 01:11, 15 August 2013 (UTC)johnwstreet
- (1) You might have created the page, but it's not "your" page. It's everyone's page. See wikipedia:ownership of articles.
- (2) If this is in fact just a community of 22 units, it is likely not independently notable enough to have an article. We have standards for wikipedia:notability here. Neutralitytalk 01:26, 15 August 2013 (UTC)
Johnwstreet, you are invited to the Teahouse
