Grey Mountain

[edit]

I've started an article about Grey Mountain here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:JonGDixon/Draft_of_Grey_Mountain|Grey Mountain article

I'm not sure how much to include though, maybe a bit of discussion about:

  • The history of the mountain
    • I've heard some anticdotal stuff about why its called Grey Mountain instead of Canyon Mountain, but I haven't been able to track anything down that I can reference.
  • The trail network
    • I'm not sure if this would be an offshoot of Whitehorse trails (if this wiki article exists or is planned), but I think a bit of discussion can be included

I'm not too sure what else. Does anyone out there have any other ideas?

Photo. Mountain articles need photos! Otherwise it's coming along nicely. The Interior (Talk) 01:58, 4 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Haha, I know when I get back to town I'm going to take a few, or look through what I have at home. A winter picture won't be quite as nice as a summer one, but I can make do. I suppose I could check flikr too...

I think you were asking about KML before, looks like there's some progress on that front - read Wikipedia:WikiProject U.S. Roads/Newsletter/Issues/Volume05/Issue02. The Interior (Talk) 14:37, 1 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
