Thanks for your email, don't worry about it. Wikipedia relies on people like you editing to keep it up to date. Wikipedia has lots of policies and guidelines, and a very extensive manual of style - its a lot to take in. Key things to avoid are overly promotional edits, and copying stuff from other websites. There may be a case to move some of the content of the Telford article into the Edinburgh College one, updating as necessary, but the Telford page should probably cover only 'historical' material.
