File copyright problem with File:Bee bee wik pic.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Bee bee wik pic.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. (ESkog)(Talk) 14:17, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
The article Leon Youngblood has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Subject does not appear to meet WP:GNG or WP:PEOPLE, and many (if not all) of the claims lack sourcing for verification. Could not find additional sourcing to help verify claims or meet notability.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Akerans (talk) 16:47, 26 October 2010 (UTC)

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Akerans (talk) 23:03, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
- Leon Youngblood has many accomplishments, and works with Jerry Greenberg who is one of the biggest executive in music history, he also has plenty of articles in the San Diego Union Tribune including a three page article and other articles so he is revelent, and should not be deleted, he also is www.getinmagazine.com the director of Urban Music, and has been apart of three indie film projects, krumpnation, and was involved with talent screening for Tyler Perry as we found on the internet, Lyor Cohen the WMG Chairman also asked Leon Youngblood to work with him after seeing the article in the San Diego Union Tribune in 1994 when the article came out, Lyor is one of the most powerful men in music yet he asked Leon to work with him while he was looking for a job before he made it big —Preceding unsigned comment added by Joshsteinbeck (talk • contribs) 06:09, 31 October 2010
- The problem is the lack of reliable sources to verify the claims … it's not about how much the subject may have published, but how much has been published about the subject … see WP:GNG and WP:BLP … besides, all of your arguments to keep the article should be made at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Leon Youngblood if you want them to be seen. - If you have taken the photo yourself, you should choose a suitable free license for it. This can be done by adding an image copyright tag: recommended licenses include {{cc-by-sa-3.0}} (for Creative Commons Attribution Share-alike license) or {{cc-by-3.0}} (for Creative Commons Attribution license); you can also release it into public domain (with no restrictions on reuse) using the tag {{PD-self}}. - Mike Rosoft (talk) 17:29, 2 November 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Leon Youngblood. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. 70.21.16.94 (talk) 17:53, 1 November 2010 (UTC)

License tagging for File:Single tribune photo.jpeg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Single tribune photo.jpeg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 07:05, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:Leon Youngblood photo.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Leon Youngblood photo.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 20:47, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
