Hi, I am the subject of this Wikipedia. this is literally a page about me that strangers continue editing. Jrdt2424 (talk) 02:28, 21 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Jen, while it can be a complicated situation to have others edit your Wikipedia page, there are guidelines for what you can do on Wikipedia:Autobiography#If Wikipedia already has an article about you. Good luck, and feel free to ask questions on my talk page or at the Wikipedia:Teahouse if there's anything more you need! ChaotıċEnby(talk · contribs) 02:51, 21 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This is good to know! Strangers are uploading facts and photos I don’t consent to. Can you help me fix this? You seem very in the know about this stuff. :) 2603:7000:7F00:2D00:18E:9805:E400:668B (talk) 02:53, 21 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I've looked around, and here are two good articles giving information for people arriving on Wikipedia and not being sure what to do about an article about them: a point-by-point essay here and an FAQ here.
For the photos, you are welcome to upload a new one and add it yourself (if it's that specific photo you don't want to see), it's explained here! There's also a way to ask for a photo of you to be removed, but it's on Wikimedia Commons, the separate website where they are hosted.
For the contents of the article, there are two cases. For the facts that aren't sourced (i.e. haven't been published in reputable press), you can ask them to be removed on the talk page and it will usually be done. It's better not to remove it yourself, but people are usually pretty responsive there. For the facts that are sourced, if they've already been published elsewhere there's little we can do, and unfortunately the subject can't decide to have them removed. If you're still not sure and/or there are no replies on the talk page, you can also ask on Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons/Noticeboard. This is hugely helpful, thank you so so much! 24.90.158.249 (talk) 03:21, 21 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did with this edit to Jen Tullock. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Materialscientist (talk) 02:23, 21 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
