Re: Infiniy On High

[edit]

Hello Justus0 and welcome to Wikipedia! I'm not entirely sure as to why exactly the article was protected in the first place, and why it still is. I know the semi-protection was temporarily removed but restored shortly afterwards and I'm pretty sure that (since edit protection is only used in extremely excessive cases of vandalism) there was good reason to do so. As for the reviews, I removed the Sputnik review because in album articles only professional reviews should be listed, Sputnik however is a collection of user-submitted reviews and therefore does not qualify for inclusion. The others you listed are more than adequate (however scathing they might be), so feel free to post a list of links here, on my talk page or on Talk:Infinity on High (if you have the permission), and I will gladly include the links in the article. Have a great day, HarryCane 14:48, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Throwing quarters, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because it is an article about a certain website, blog, forum, or other web content that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles, as well as notability guidelines for websites. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on Talk:Throwing quarters. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Strangerer (Talk | Contribs) 19:37, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image tagging for Image:A.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:A.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:A.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:A.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 10:39, 5 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:A.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:A.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 18:50, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Tmv-octahedron.jpg

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Tmv-octahedron.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 00:21, 17 May 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.88.61.193 (talk)

Fair use rationale for File:Tmv-octahedron.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Tmv-octahedron.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nyttend (talk) 14:13, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
