"Bobby Sox"
[edit]Please refrain from removing "Bobby Sox" from the singles list on Saviors (album). WP:SINGLE? says that a song is considered a single if an "authoritative, music-oriented media outlet" like Billboard calls it as such. The article used as a citation directly calls "Bobby Sox" a single ("In addition to “The American Dream Is Killing Me,” the iconic rockers also released single like “Dilemma,” “Bobby Sox,” “One Eyed Bastard” and “Look Ma, No Brains!” "), and thus it should be kept in the article as such. Thanks for your cooperation! Leafy46 (talk) 02:28, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
August 2024
[edit]Hello, I'm Sergecross73. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Sergecross73 msg me 23:36, 28 August 2024 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for October 15
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Toby Turner, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Liberal. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 19:55, 15 October 2024 (UTC)
Popular Monster singles
[edit]Hi. I understand you are new to Wikipedia. I, however am not. I'm trying to inform you that what you are doing with the singles on Popular Monster both on the album page and the song pages is Vandalism.
Per the template Template:Infobox Song, "If the song was originally released as a single well in advance of the album, |album= should not be used, since it is not from the album, but later added to one. For example, "Beck's Bolero" and "Back on the Chain Gang" were released as singles about 16 months before they were added to albums and became well-known before the albums."
What you are doing here may result in a ban in the future if you repeat this sort of behavior. 2600:1014:B1EA:5EC6:ED3D:785B:142F:F442 (talk) 11:34, 20 October 2024 (UTC)
- Album articles such as Let the Bad Times Roll and Pop Drunk Snot Bread show songs in the singles section that were released years prior with the album coming years later, but no one applied that rule to those articles. That being said, I won't edit on those FIR articles anymore Kaivangelion (talk) 00:45, 21 October 2024 (UTC)
- Also I’m not new to Wikipedia either, been editing for a few years, so saying that while being an IP who just started editing the day before is crazy work Kaivangelion (talk) 14:50, 21 October 2024 (UTC)
