Hello. Concerning your contribution, LATRUTH, please note that Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text or images obtained from other web sites or printed material, without the permission of the author(s). This article or image appears to be a direct copy from www.myspace.com/latruth. As a copyright violation, LATRUTH appears to qualify for deletion under the speedy deletion criteria. LATRUTH has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message.

  • If you have permission from the author, leave a message explaining the details at Talk:LATRUTH and send an email with the message to permissions-en@wikimedia.org. See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
  • If a note on the original website states that it is licensed under the CC-BY-SA license, leave a note at Talk:LATRUTH with a link to where we can find that note.

However, for textual content, you may simply consider rewriting the content in your own words. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with our copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright concerns very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Thank you. Raziman T V (talk) 13:28, 30 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page LATRUTH has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.myspace.com/latruth (matching the regex rule \bmyspace\.com).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 13:41, 30 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  1. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added such as to the page LATRUTH do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with LATRUTH. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Favonian (talk) 13:58, 30 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I noted the "hangon" tag you applied to the above-captioned page, and the material you left on its associated talk page, which is quoted here for your convenience: "Robert Hampton, Known professionally by his Artist name 'LATRUTH' is a North Carolina Rap Artist. He is very popular on myspace and is considered an upcoming star in the underground rap scene. We should have a wiki page 'LATRUTH' to list Robert Hampton's musical career to date". Unfortunately there are two problems with that. One is that you haven't given any reliable sources to indicate that any expert believes that Mr. Hampton's musical career is of any notability, and the other is that the reader has no reason to believe that Mr. Hampton's efforts meet the Wikipedia guidelines for the notability of musicians found at WP:MUSICBIO. I have therefore decided to agree with the editor who tagged the article for speedy deletion. If you can provide proof that Mr. Hampton's efforts meet the requirements of WP:MUSICBIO, feel free to recreate the article and restore it (with the proofs within the body of the article). You may also find WP:Why was my article deleted? to be a useful source of information. If you have further questions after following the links in this paragraph, you can leave me a note. Best of luck with your future contributions. Accounting4Taste:talk 18:52, 30 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I've noticed that you have been adding your signature to some of your article contributions, such as the edit you made to Latruth. This is a simple mistake to make and is easy to correct. For future reference, the need to associate edits with users is taken care of by an article's edit history. Therefore, you should use your signature only when contributing to talk pages, the Village Pump, or other such discussion pages. For a better understanding of what distinguishes articles from these type of pages, please see What is an article?. Again, thank you for contributing, and enjoy your Wikipedia experience! Thank you. The article Latruth has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable musician; fails WP:Music

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. PDCook (talk) 16:11, 31 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
