Thanks for all your efforts, and if you didn't get a brownie on the day, have a virtual one on us!

Hi Karisund!
Thank you so much for taking part in the Lost Literary Edinburgh editathon as part of the Being Human festival. Just so you know, we created 8 brand new articles on Wikipedia and improved a further 5, and there are still 12 articles in draft waiting to be completed!

If you need help moving your article from Draft into the main Wiki space, please contact myself ammienoot, or Sarah Thomas (lirazelf) or Ewan McAndrew (Stinglehammer).

You can visit the event page and see the full list, and we hope that you enjoyed the day and that we'll see you on Wiki again soon.

Now that you've learned the basics of editing using Wikipedia’s Visual Editor, I hope that you'll edit or create more articles. Here are some booklets and some links below that you may find useful.

Also here's a link to a User Guide which covers the main things to remember about using Visual Editor.

Women in Red

[edit]

If you enjoy writing biographies of women and helping to close the gender gap you should check out the Women in Red WikiProject.

Welcome to WikiProject Women in Red (WiR)!

Our objective is to turn red links into blue ones. Our project's scope is women's representation on all language Wikipedias (biographies, women's works, women's issues, broadly construed). Did you know that, according to Humaniki, only 19.97% of the English Wikipedia's biographies are about women? Not impressed? Content gender gap is a form of systemic bias, and this is what WiR addresses. Editors of all genders are equally and warmly welcome to participate in the work of Women in Red!

Your draft article, Draft:Irene Simmonds

[edit]

Hello, Karisund. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Irene Simmonds".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Interstellarity T 🌟 12:02, 9 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
