Proposed deletion of Abdullah Al-Alayli

[edit]

The article Abdullah Al-Alayli has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No clear indication of why the subject of this article is notable. Article is a hodgepodge of peacock terms, subjective non-NPOV phrases, uncited synthesis of subject's presumed views/opinions, and possible copyright violations (due to inclusion of a significant amount of source material).

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Efforts to keep the page

[edit]

It is my first time dealing with wiki, and i am trying my best to correct all matters, however, as said, i am new! please help me more to understand how to solve these issues!

Hello. It depends on what your primary goal is:
  1. To write an article, as you've done, glorifying Abdullah Al-Alayli.
  2. To have an article about Abdullah Al-Alayli on Wikipedia.
If it's the former, it will have to be somewhere else. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. Articles here are neutrally written reference pieces and aren't a proper place for personal expression.
If it's the latter, I'd recommend that you follow the links in the Welcome message above under the Getting Started heading, and also read WP:Your first article. These will give you a feel for what subjects it is appropriate to create Wikipedia articles about, and what it is appropriate to write about them.
In short, a Wikipedia must be about subjects that meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines, must contain information that is all verifiable from reliable sources, and must be written from a neutral point of view. I haven't done any research of my own to see whether Abdullah Al-Alayli ‎meets the notability guidelines, but if he is an eligible Wikipedia topic, then an article on him must be a neutrally written reference article. I don't see any way to edit the current article into something like that. It would need to be written from scratch.
If you want to try writing a neutral reference article on Al-Alayli, I recommend following the instructions for creating a userspace draft and then the steps for requesting a review of the article and finally having it published to the main article space.
Let me know if you have any further questions! —Largo Plazo (talk) 15:24, 18 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

asking for more time

[edit]

Thanks for your comments! I will work on re writing the page entirely, but I require more time, can i have couple of days to do so?!

Thanks

The deletion discussion (which is where you have to participate if you want your input considered in the outcome) runs for seven days before the deletion occurs, if the consensus is for deletion, so you have that much time anyway. But I'd really recommend that you just start from scratch with a draft. There's nothing preventing you from recreating the article with an improved version after the original has been deleted. —Largo Plazo (talk) 21:23, 18 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

drastic change to the page

[edit]

I have gone through a drastic change for the page with a friend of mine, and tried to work on the page and make an introduction and remove the problems which is causing the deletion.

Please to have another look into the page and to advise whether now, we can keep this page online, and of course i will keep on working on the citations and references in order to further improve the page.

Best regards

Information icon A tag has been placed on Abdullah Al-Alayli requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion process. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's discussion directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please contact the administrator who deleted the page or use deletion review instead of recreating the page. Thank you. --Kinu t/c 14:49, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
