Main changes for review:

City has a new logo. LOGO: https://daniabeachfl.gov/DocumentCenter/View/11765/Dania-Beach-Sea-It-Live-It-Love-It

Website: daniabeachfl.gov

City Manager: Ana M. Garcia, ICMA-CM

At bottom of page, errors as well. I had fixed links for Chamber of Commerce, webcam (daniabeachfl.gov/webcam)

All these changes are from The city of Dania Beach / City Hall / Government.

Thank you for your support.

Edits were separated. This is not a personal website, but the official City of Dania Beach. All the information I included on the page is relevant, is not promotional nor inappropriate. The website link, City manager and logo are official. Can you please include the correct info?

As for the text, the city's history, the new businesses flourishing in the City, I would like them to be posted but that's secondary. Please help me update the content so it is accurate, at least.

Again, this is the Official City of Dania Beach and I am the Public Information Officer trying to maintain the content relating to our city... this should not be inappropriate in any way.

Thank you for your help and understanding.

You are welcome to contat me if you have any concerns. kbordy@daniabeachfl.gov • Phone 954-924-6808 #3754

Hi. It doesn't work. Because you did a lot more than just adding a new logo, new city manager and new website address. You copy and pasted swathes of promotional and copyrighted material from (apparently) your own website. This is completely inappropriate. Under project policies. And copyright norms. As per the related note on the article talkpage, if you can specify what specific (initially small/factual) changes you are proposing (on that talkpage), then the community will review them there. Otherwise policy precludes the copy/pasting of copyrighted material. And recommends against involved editors directly editing articles which they have an association. Hello again. I have
  • removed the broken/promo/cybersquatted links from the end of the article. I have not replaced them - as there is no reason to link to a webcam site.
  • removed the city manager/clerk details from the infobox. I have not replaced them - as the city website has conflicting information on who that might be.

+++ https://daniabeachfl.gov/Calendar.aspx?EID=14632&month=3&year=2019&day=10&calType=0

  • not made any other changes. The suggestion that Wikipedia should somehow mirror or republish quasi-promotional content from the city's website suggests that you have not read or understood this project's policies on conflicts of interest, promotion and copyright protections.
If you are proposing further changes to the article, then please do so on the talk page for the article. Do not copy and paste any further copyrighted material to the article - as it will result in a restriction of editing privileges. Thanks and bye. Guliolopez (talk) 23:07, 8 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, the new City manager is Ana M. Garcia. Please see proof below:

You seem to not have registered the fact that I am the City's PIO. If you have any further questions relating to The City of Dania Beach, I'll be happy to assist you. All the content I had included on the wiki page was written by me for the purpose of informing everyone about the City. I will be satisfied with at least having the proper information and our new logo uploaded as soon as you are able to verify its authenticity. the City seal currently on wiki is no longer used.

Best wishes.

Hello.
RE: City Manager. Per my recent edit summary on the city article, your website provides conflicting information on who the city manager is. Yes, the page you link about suggests that it is Garcia. But this page lists Baldwin. You might want to sort that out. Before we attempt to sort it out here.
RE: Logo. OK. I have changed the logo.
RE: Talk page. Please try and keep talk page conversations sequential. It is hard to follow when responses are randomly placed on the page. Also please sign talkpage posts.
Thanks. Guliolopez (talk) 19:41, 10 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. RE: Thank you for letting me know. I quickly updated the page and am glad you made me aware of this old page description listing the previous City Manager. https://daniabeachfl.gov/8/Government

Please take a moment to look at http://daniabeachfl.gov/pr

I am not seeing the new logo but he old one squeezed tight.

Thank you for making the changes, and i am sorry for the approach. I am new at this and was simply asked to update the wiki page, which I have been struggling to do, thanks to you.  :) No harm done
