The article Drown (Young Adult Fiction) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable e-book lacking GHits and GNEWS of substance. Fails WP:NOTBOOK.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for For abusive sockpuppetry, first offense. Creating multiple accounts is not a legitimate way to prevent the deletion of an article on your book.. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Your block has been extended to two weeks for continued sockpuppetry. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 16:08, 27 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
um, ill admit to the two sockpuppets before, they were people I knew using my own laptop who tried to help me out. But i don't know who that third person is. i stopped after the first block because I wanted to continue wprking on my article. That person has nothing to do with me. Also, I will admit to a close connection to the book. My sister wrote it; but I can assure you that there is no bias in the article. I tried my hardest to remove myself and my personal opinions from it. If you see any bias, please do point it out and I will edit it away---well once i finally can get on my article.
Stop. You need to read WP guidelines extensively before you do any more editing. The issue is not that you wrote a biased article on a notable subject (the current language is a bit promotional in tone, but you obviously arent saying things like "the best book of the year"). The issue is that there is no indication that it meets notability standards for having an article. Im not what some call a "deletionist", but we really cant have every book get an article just because someone likes it or is connected to it. I struggled for 2 years to collect enough references, and to create supportive articles, for a relative who is notable but not highly so, and who, having passed away, cannot benefit personally from the article being here (neither can i, for that matter, benefit). your conflict of interest makes it impossible to write on this article subject objectively in terms of its notability. I did search for signs of notability, didnt find any. There is no way anyone reading this article, the AFD, your talk page, and the sockpuppetry abuse reports, will not conclude you are editing in bad faith. so just stop doing that. if you want to promote your sisters book, send some print copies to notable independent booksellers (california has some of the last standing), after calling to see if they would like a copy. All you need is a few librarians or booksellers to fall in love with it, and they will sell it like crazy. if no one does, your sister just has to try again. it actually sounds good from your description, and I might even buy a copy. but thats so entirely separate from this project, its barely worth mentioning here. after your ban, if you like, try editing some articles on other YA books, or some other subject, but please dont add your sisters book to lists, articles, etc. seriously, you could get a permanent ban, and how would that help her if the book actually DOES go viral? sincerely, Mercurywoodrose (talk) 06:45, 1 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
