Hrafn

[edit]

Hello, Kbothwell. I saw your interaction with user Hrafn at the UPI article. Please don't think most editors are like Hrafn. They're not, thank God. He is one of very few editors incapable of comprehending our policy on Civility. I hope you don't let one marginal editor put you off from editing Wikipedia. Welcome! --Kenatipo speak! 06:03, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. Is there some place on wikipedia where one can discuss, in a civilized manner, the importance of making sure quotes are accurate rather than merely verifiable? --Kbothwell (talk) 06:37, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
AFAIK, we don't have a place for that specific discussion. Your best bet is the talk page of the article you're working on. If you run into problems there, you can try asking another editor (such as me) to step in, or pursue methods of dispute resolution. (If you're looking to change an established policy, or discuss how our policies apply, try the village pump. BTW, I don't know the specifics of your dispute with Hrafn, but I'd second Kenatipo's comments above: Please don't be turned off by isolated incivility; most of us are very nice and work collaboratively. :) All the best,   — Jess· Δ 08:37, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
