October 2023[edit]

Wikipedia is not a web host for holding personal web pages unrelated to work on building the encyclopaedia. You are, of course, welcome to make contributions to the encyclopaedia, in line with Wikipedia policies and guidelines, but if you wish to write a personal web page, then there are many web sites which provide that sort of service, but Wikipedia is not one of them. Also please bear in mind that editing for any kind of promotional purpose is not permitted; that includes editing to promote or publicise oneself or one's work. Don't make trivial and pointless changes to articles, such as adding extra spaces which are not visible in the displayed page. Doing so serves no useful purpose, and causes problems such as making it more difficult for editors to see the more significant edits, hidden by trivial ones. Also, editors who make about ten trivial edits before starting on more significant editing tend to raise doubts about their intentions. JBW (talk) 10:48, 13 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you are connected to someone or something you have written about (a few examples are writing about yourself, your business, your band, a member of your family, your client) then you should be aware that Wikipedia's conflict of interest guideline discourages you from writing about that subject. One of the main reasons for that is that experience over the years indicates that editors with such a connection to a subject they are writing about are likely to find it very difficult, or even impossible, to stand back from their writing and see how it will look from the detached perspective of an outsider, so that they are likely to write in ways that look promotional to others, even if they sincerely think they are writing in a neutral way. A fuller coverage of the relevant pints is provided in the guideline on conflict of interest. JBW (talk) 10:51, 13 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: Kefas Brand (October 13)[edit]

Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by Qcne was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: You didn't bother to improve this draft despite multiple reviews and declines, so why are you wasting our time submitting it again with no improvement? Rejected. Do not re-submit.
