Hi Drmies. I have not included any text promoting anything. I just wanted to inform future students of the school with information that cannot be found on the website. May i know where you see this promotional info? And may i ask why are you deleting the genuine information from the page? Thanks!

Kermit01321 (talk) 14:35, 27 October 2019 (UTC) Kermit01321[reply]

Sorry. May i ask, are you from this school?

I see, but i have been providing genuine information though. With no promotional info, i swear! I can provide you with evidence for my info.

  • I'm sorry, but I disagree. The writing must be much more neutral than that. There is a big difference between adding grade levels and singing the praises of former administrators--and any praise should be properly attributed. Drmies (talk) 14:44, 27 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I see, i'm not only adding grade levels though. I am a student from this school from Singapore and been studying here for 3 years now, going into my fourth. All the info is correct. I have no idea what you are talking about.

I've only been editing the article about the principals and former principals though Drmies. I don't understand what's wrong, what is promotional about my edits? I saw that you deleted a mass amount of info from the post a long time ago, and the reason for that was 'wut. so they take debit. the rest is PR hogwash' What does that mean?

Been checking out your history, and you erased the entire Ohio State University page for promotional content, when there was none.. Please stop trolling, i'm only a student trying to educate new students bro..

  • "Bro". You're lying about the OSU page (but thanks for checking me out), and I don't believe you are a student. Isn't respect one of the core values? Don't refer to someone as "bro". Drmies (talk) 15:03, 27 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Since i can't really edit much on this page. I only edited the capitals on the page alright? Will you be able to teach me how to edit right on Wikipedia, i'm new and I don't get what you mean by promotional content, could you point out the promotional content so i can at least correct my mistake. And yes, the reason you put for the edit on OSU page was 'tonns of promotional content'. I understand you don't think i'm showing too much respect here, but the feeling is mutual. I've been trying to ask where the promotional content is, i understand perhaps what i did was wrong. I'm just really confused.

You should chill on the passive aggressiveness. Really was just looking for help.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Woodlands_Ring_Secondary_School @Drmies Look at this btw.

  • I don't see where you get "passive". I am actively removing your promotional edits from the article. Yes, I am a moderator; feel free to seek recourse at WP:AN, for instance, though that might draw even more attention to your editing, and the lengthy history of COI editing in the article.

Here: "The principal also ensured that the school kept abreast of modern developments." That's promotional, and said in Wikipedia's voice. "developing his staff into highly-competent educators": unverified praise. "Recognizing student's development, volunteering activities and time they put into planning, service and reflection, when participating in a VIA activity": poorly written and unverified fluff. School values: we don't do school values; read the guidelines. The "Excellence Programme" is, ironically, full of grammatical errors and unverified. We don't do clubs. "The Canberran Alumni spearheads various programmes to ensure a vibrant campus life..." -- pure promotion. Drmies (talk) 15:26, 27 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, this is a good reply.
