Information icon Hello, I'm BrownHairedGirl. An edit that you recently made to Sogdian warriors seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Your edit was unsourced and unexplained. It broke categories and templates. Khwarazm

[edit]

Please read Wikipedia:Common names. The region is not known as 'Khorezm', it's Khwarazm. Also please read Wikipedia:Copyrights and WP:CIR as well, thanks. --HistoryofIran (talk) 19:30, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. --HistoryofIran (talk) 01:39, 12 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Two editors are telling you that it is not WP:RS. If you are so well-versed in the rules, you wouldn't have 1. added them 2. kept edit warring. Instead, you would have taken this to the talk page and try to reach WP:CONSENSUS. Not to mention you are still ignoring WP:COMMON NAME, it is Khwarazm, not Khorezm. --HistoryofIran (talk) 01:44, 12 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Changing it to Khwarazm still doesn't change the fact that the sources aren't WP:RS. I will take a look at it. --HistoryofIran (talk) 01:50, 12 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
    • As I see it, you decided to become the main judge of Wikipedia in determining which source is reliable and important and which is not. The importance and credibility of sources is determined by discussion. There are Wikipedia rules that you probably don't know Khorazmiy (talk) 01:59, 12 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Please avoid nonsensical accusations like these, that is if you want to have an actual discussion, thanks. --HistoryofIran (talk) 02:34, 12 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Why Did you delete the image ? Manbigg745 (talk) 09:21, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Prove the authenticity of the photo. The ethnicity of people depicted on the photo is not supported by the reliable sources. Khorazmiy (talk) 18:26, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

There is no other ethnicity pages attached with reliable sources for their ethnicity image however since you are the one who deleted the old image ( replace a new image ) Recommend it to be acceptable for all viewers Manbigg745 (talk) 05:45, 10 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Samarkand, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Turkic Khaganate. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Good day colleague! Recently I wrote an article about Uzbeks in Turkey. As you know, it is very important to find reliable sources. Can't find sources, can you help me? ITPRO.UZ (talk) 15:21, 14 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
