Your recent edits

[edit]

Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 09:08, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Disco Siberia Promo.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Disco Siberia Promo.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

The problem is that the article had no "assertion of notability" so it was speedily deleted (we have a lot of problems with obscure bands that are so obscure that nobody can tell if they're a hoax or not.) Please read WP:BAND very carefuly, and if you can think of an assertion of notability that counts (e.g., they won _____ award or sold more singles than ____, or appeared on the _____ show etc.) then ask to have your work undeleted and the assertion of notability added at WP:AN. ←BenB4 15:11, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you look at the first item on WP:BAND#Criteria for musicians and ensembles, I think you can do it this way: "Swound! has been independently reviewed by critics writing for Whisperin & Hollerin,[1] TinyVoices,[2] and Sandman,[3]." Post on WP:AN that you would like the article undeleted with that assertion of notability added.BenB4 15:24, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Note: I went ahead and asked at WP:AN#Swound! - a band on the edge of notability. ←BenB4 15:30, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's back

License tagging for File:Swoundkerrang.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Swoundkerrang.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 14:05, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Swoundkerrang.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Radiant chains (talk) 04:58, 28 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
