Hello Sir,

I am rakeshnandi1990, I was creating an article named Hyderabad Kalibari, I got a new message from your bot, SDPatrolBot, about the speedy deletion. They asked me to contest my deletion so I mentioned my reason there. After that I deleted the Speedy deletion message from the article. I was getting the message again and again, and I was deleting it all the time. After everything I checked my User page there were many warnings and a final warning too which was saying that I will be blocked from editing. This was my mistake that I didn't see the warning message before. So what shall I do now. And the article which was was creating was not a junk article, it'll be a good addition to the wikipedia. So please help.

I hopefully alleviated one of your concerns[edit]

You have a concern that I have not yet written one of my own bots. I just came up with my own task awaiting review over at BRFA. Feel free to have a look. :)—cyberpower ChatOffline 16:37, 14 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Just a little message to Yunshui and Kingpin13, seeing if you wanted to deal with Wikipedia:Requests_for_permissions/Rollback#User:Kevin12xd personally due to your previous involvment with the user. Kind regards ·Add§hore· Talk To Me! 04:12, 20 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Per this Yunshui has left it to you. ·Add§hore· Talk To Me! 04:39, 20 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I've no objection if someone else deals with it. Otherwise I can try and get to it sometime in the next few days, but I haven't a lot of time for reviewing these kinds of things just now. - Kingpin13 (talk) 23:53, 20 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Archive pages question[edit]

Hi there! Is your RFP archive bot open source? I really need to set up frequent archiving for User:Addbot/log/wikidata ·Add§hore· Talk To Me! 14:59, 19 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I can email you the source if you want (although it may take me a while, since I'll need to run through it to check for passwords etc.) But I'm not sure it's really what you're looking for. I mean, it's very much written specifically for RfP, in that it has a whole load of extras such as checking that the user actually has the permission they applied for if the request is marked as approved, etc. Like I say, you're free to browse it yourself, but even I barely understand it (really needs a re-write) so I'm not sure how much you'll get out of it. The core of the bot - splitting a page up into sections, determining what needs to be archived, and removing/archiving those sections (which appears to be what you want) is very basic, and you'd be better off starting from scratch, imo. It's written in C#, and it's one of my older bots so it's still using DotNetWikiBot along with a bundle of other bad practices . Anyway, drop me an email through Wikipedia if you want the source. Oh, also, the regexes I use to match notdone and done templates are at User:KingpinBot/notdone and User:KingpinBot/done, if that's any help. - Kingpin13 (talk) 17:39, 19 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm, I may try and throw something together tonight, I basically just want to remove sections that have done or notdone in them :P I just need to find the time and was just curious if it could be as simple as enabling your bot on the page :P Cheers for the reply! ·Add§hore· Talk To Me! 22:58, 19 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wikialerter[edit]

I'd be interested in testing it when I have the chance :) It's a Fox! (Talk to me?) 20:41, 20 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, I've added you to the list. You're welcome to try it, although I don't really do much to maintain it these days. - Kingpin13 (talk) 21:36, 20 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Shore, Allan_page and your question_and my question[edit]

Hey Kingpin13 I am making additions to the Allan Schore page (psychiatrist and developmental psychoanalytic theorist). I have been reading this researcher's work for a while and have a lot more references to add. I need your assistance in allowing me to test or help as a non-admin role. Could you guide me through that process? Also, regarding your question as to why there has been a flurry of peps editing the page more recently than before is interesting but not surprising. Schore published his newest book in 2012 which I added to the references. His overall contributions regarding affect dysregulation and the causes and conditions of why a child from toxic environments have difficulties later in life (in many ways including learning, emotional self-regulation, etc.) is very well documented in his research. In one of the earlier books that was mentioned he has over 2600 references! The copy that is already printed for a bio was simply copied and pasted from Amazon.com. However, it does look accurate and thus may have been from another peer-reviewed source. The best source on his bio as well as research and theories is from the 2009 book by J. Palombo, H. Bendicsen, and B. Koch. 'Guide to Psychoanalytic Developmental Theories.' (NY: Springer Press). Chapter 17 is all about Allan Schore and his groundbreaking work. So perhaps it has been his latest book or another reason is that this research and findings with regard to stress, children, development, learning, etc. has been talked about a lot i recent years. Schore goes further to also give a theory of the genesis of affect in the brain, which is also interesting. I just think more and more people are recognizing him and looking for Wiki for some relevant information and there is none. To give you an idea of the importance of this kind of research if it is all true like the research findings (a strong theory - predicting well) then it would explain the state of society today, to some degree. For instance, when a person doesn't trust their environment, doesn't have the skills to socialize, and has suffered hardships in life, they have decreased hope, decreased resiliency, etc. etc. etc. They act out and in adulthood their behaviors such as self-medicate and domestic violence put them i jails and institutions. These ideas are being shared among professionals to the degree that its mentioned in the first paragraph Schore's influence on multiple disciples. Pediatrics just go and look up Jack Shonkoff (ecobiodevelopmental or EBD theory). I'm not sure how they are related but their research or article publishing parallels each other. Hope I didn't cause you a headache reading all of this but I wanted to contact you and get information as to how I may help you guys. I'm getting my MEd at Xavier University in Education but in undergrad studies came across Dr. Schore due to my deep lit review, etc. Take care. Not sure how I'll hear from you next so here is my email weechva@gmail.com (V. Ashley Weech) . Thank you in advance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Weechva (talkcontribs) 09:44, 28 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:Rollback[edit]

Hi I am PBASH607 you may already know me from the Wikipedia rollback request forum. I have removed the sentence from my user page that you said was "offensive", you also said that me asking for confirmed user status proves that I'm ineligible for rollback as this user does not know what he's reading is false. On the list of confirmed users (not auto confirmed) , I couldn't find my name there on the list so that's why I asked to be a confirmed user. Sorry if my user page seems offensive as NOBODY had ever told me that until now, and hat collecting? I've only asked two requests and I'm not grabbing privileges, now go ahead and blank my page or something, god bless this encyclopedia. Thanks and Peace Out!
