Welcome!
Hello, Klabumm, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Jacques Soisson, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may soon be deleted.
There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:
- Starting an article
- Your first article
- Biographies of living persons
- How to write a great article
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- Help pages
- Tutorial
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Mhiji 03:22, 10 January 2011 (UTC)
The article Jacques Soisson has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Mhiji 03:22, 10 January 2011 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:Hans Neuendorf Portrait.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Hans Neuendorf Portrait.jpg, which you've attributed to Hans Neuendorf. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 21:16, 3 February 2016 (UTC)
Your user page
[edit]Your user page User:Klabumm, which in its current incarnation appears to be a draft for an article about Hans Neuendorf really belongs at Draft:Hans Neuendorf. If you are unable to move it, I am happy to do it for you. If you are Hans Neuendorf, then a user page tlike that is unsuitable; please see Wikipedia:User_pages for what is acceptable. I noticed that you are aware that some editors think you have a WP:COI and may even be an undisclosed paid editor. I don't know if you are, but I think it may be prudent to make a statement on whether you are or not. For example, I transclude User:Mduvekot/COI on my user page. All the best, Mduvekot (talk) 20:51, 28 March 2018 (UTC)
- and perhaps you can explain the remarkable similarities between the article on Neuendorf written by User:Sophieneuendorf and User:Solemio2 I won't post another editor's personal information, but I should probably admit that I couldn't help notice that there likely is a conflict of interest here. Mduvekot (talk) 21:08, 28 March 2018 (UTC)
@Klabumm: Could you please reply to my request to clarify your potential conflict of interest? Thanks, Vexations (talk) 11:44, 3 April 2018 (UTC) (formerly Mduvekot)
Deletion discussion about Alexander Friedmann-Hahn
[edit]Hello, Klabumm,
I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Alexander Friedmann-Hahn should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Alexander Friedmann-Hahn .
If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
Thanks,
