[edit]Hello, I'm Magnolia677. I noticed that you recently removed content from Marietta, Georgia without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Suzanne Charny edit
[edit]I have reverted your addition of a date of birth to Suzanne Charny, along with the accompanying citation to IMDb. That source is not reliable. Please see WP:IMDB for comments about that website. You might also want to look at WP:USERGENERATED to see some other sites that are similarly unreliable. - everywhere I can find, the DOB is the same, so I'm not sure what makes one site reliable and another unreliable. Not like I care, I'm not Suzanne Kristent225 (talk) 14:34, 20 March 2024 (UTC)
- With regard to what makes one site reliable and another unreliable, please see Wikipedia:Reliable sources. That page provides guidance about reliability. Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources lists a number of sources and indicates the reliability (or lack thereof) of each. As a general rule, sources that are user-generated are not reliable, as are those that are self-published. Eddie Blick (talk) 18:14, 20 March 2024 (UTC)
- ok thanks Kristent225 (talk) 15:39, 25 March 2024 (UTC)

April 2024
[edit]Hello. I wanted to let you know that your recent edit(s) to the L.A. Confidential (film) plot summary have been removed because they added a significant amount of unnecessary detail. Please avoid excessive detail and high word counts when editing plot summaries/synopses. You may read the plot summary edit guides to learn more about contributing constructively to plot summaries/synopses. There are also specific guidelines for films, musicals, television episodes, anime/manga, novels and non-fiction books. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 20:44, 1 April 2024 (UTC)
