When you send a message to another user, finish off by adding four tildes like so ~~~~. This will automatically add your username, and the date of entry of your edit. I am delighted to adopt you. Just in case you are uncertain - to leave a message, left-click on the name in blue at the end of an incoming message, such as this one. That will take you to a user-page, in this case mine. Left-click on "discussion". Then left-click on the "+" between "edit this page" and "history". Type a short title for your message, such as "help" or "hello" or "my editting" or anything at all that you would like to use. Hit the "tab" key, which is the one immediately above caps lock on the left side of the keyboard, and then type away all you want. The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere.
