Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your recent edits to Talk:Sarah_Palin have been reverted as they could be seen to be defamatory or potentially libellous. Take a look at our welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Switzpaw (talk) 01:43, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is discussion, not article. These issues should be discussed.--Lambchop2008 (talk) 01:46, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
WP:BLP applies to talk pages in certain circumstances, and I believe the warning is merited. Here is the diff, if anyone cares to judge for themselves. Switzpaw (talk) 01:52, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I am afraid that we have a disagreement. I made my comments for purpose of discussion. My comments are far milder and less defamatory than other comments on the discussion page. I am not going to revert it back just yet. I just read through the WP:BLP policy and I do not see it as a violation as I presented it. I would never advocate my comments as written in the article itself. I am going to read WP:BLP again and then decide upon a proper means, within the policy, to make my comments for discussion.--Lambchop2008 (talk) 02:08, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add defamatory content to Wikipedia, as you did to Talk:Sarah_Palin. If you would like to experiment please use the sandbox. Thank you. diff. Switzpaw (talk) 05:08, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

WP:3RR

[edit]

You have now added the disputed comment to the talk page four times to accuse Sarah Palin of being responsible for her daughter's Down's Syndrome.[1][2][3][4] I have reverted this again as a blatant WP:BLP violation. You have no idea whether or not Palin is responsible for causing her daughter's disability. All you are doing is speculating and blaming her of being a bad mother. That is hurtful and uncalled for. If you add this again you will be in violation of WP:3RR and you will likely be blocked from further editing the encycloepdia. If you do wish to contribute, please find some constructive way and do not pursue tabloid-style gossip.Wikidemon (talk) 02:02, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please see my response above. I had thought it was being deleted because the preceding portion had been archived. No, I am not accusing Sarah Palin of being a bad mother. I am noting an inconsistency and offering speculation for discussion.--Lambchop2008 (talk) 02:11, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please assume good faith in your dealings with other editors. Assume that they are here to improve rather than harm Wikipedia. - Simon Dodd { U·T·C·WP:LAW } 00:57, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
