User talk:Lilshortyfontenot
This was a very interesting subject. I have been hearing about some of the issues with Wiki since the beginning of the quarter. It also fascinates me with regard to how many "persons of color" are contributing editors to this internet site. This is interesting enough to cause me to rethink my degree. Much of my interested lies in African American studies, history and gender women's studies, and the information and stories that need to be recorded to keep these heroes from being lost in white supremacist patriarchal imperialist capitalist rhetoric. Since Wiki is one of the top 10 websites in the world, the accessibility of information about women of African origin would be at the finger tips of every white person wanting to know the stories about how we see white people, as we "help our African people" claim their lost stories.
Speedy deletion nomination of Tina bell
[edit]Hello Lilshortyfontenot,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Tina bell for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. MB298 (talk) 06:17, 8 December 2015 (UTC)
- I've declined the speedy deletion of the article (and moved it to the properly capitalized version Tina Bell), but it is necessary that an article have actual content, not just an infobox. In fact, it's best when writing an article to write the prose first, and only add the infobox later. Please add text to the article or it may be at risk of deletion again. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 08:00, 8 December 2015 (UTC)

[edit]You should probably move the paragraph at the top of your page to your userpage. MB298 (talk) 01:20, 12 December 2015 (UTC)
