Speedy deletion nomination of MHCD

[edit]

A tag has been placed on MHCD requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guidelines for people and for organizations. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Speedy deletion nomination of MHCD

[edit]

A tag has been placed on MHCD requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from MHCD, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Simon-in-sagamihara (talk) 14:10, 11 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with MHCD. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Salvio ( Let's talk 'bout it!) 14:15, 11 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Miniature internal combustion engine has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no indication of WP:notability. Unsourced - Its an Internal combustion engine no matter what the size.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. noq (talk) 18:58, 18 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions are appreciated, but, in this recent edit to Miniature internal combustion engine, you removed Articles for deletion notices from articles or removed other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates. This makes it difficult to establish consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Hi. In your recent article edits, you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hey!

[edit]

I see you've put a lot of effort into the Miniature hydraulics article and I'm glad that you're helping expand Wikipedia! I also noticed that I (twice), and at least one other person has corrected a simple grammatical error. Then vs Than. I just thought I'd lend a hand and tell you the difference.

Then is used in a series. First I did this, then that. Than is used in comparisons: Better than, more than, higher than et cetera.

Keep up the good work!

Ncboy2010 (talk) 14:09, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. It might be better to list all the external links in it's own section, instead of having multiple sections for each link. Ncboy2010 (talk) 14:12, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

And I finally trimmed down the article to a minimum since it was promotional and unreferenced. Please read WP:REFB how to cite correctly and get familiar with our policies please. (Links are at the top in the welcome message!) mabdul 14:01, 28 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
