A tag has been placed on Mame Khan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://tune.pk/video/3138124/rajasthani-folk-song-8217bichhudo8217-by-mame-khan-manganiyar. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

Issues with Mame Khan[edit]

There are some issues with the article Mame Khan.

  1. It appears that you're having a connection the article because your user name LiveFolkMusic and the person in the article who is a folk singer. This indicates that you're are having conflict of interest where you'll be facing difficulties adhering to Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy.
  2. The article doesn't meet our notability guidelines of biographies.
  3. There are no citations or references to verify the subject in the article. Please add citations and references so that we can verify. See WP:CITE.

Please note that even if we get the OTRS number meaning that the copyrighted content are verified, the article may be deleted because of issues 2 and 3 I listed above. You can reply below this. Thanks Ayub407talk 12:19, 15 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, thanx...I am working on both issues! How can I prove my relation (or better not) with the mentioned person in the article? And there was already a wikipedia page in the past about the same person but it got deleted due to the fact that the artist himself was very unhappy with the page. Thanx for helping out...

Other users can make out that you're related with the person in the article. Please tell us clearly whats your connection with the person so that I can help further. Ayub407talk 12:37, 15 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, reg. relation issue: I am a German music and art manager and I am specialized in Indian Folk music and research. I have worked with the artist mentioned in the article and I would like to re-launch this article as the previous article got deleted. Is this relation to close to issue this page? If so I better stop now working on it!

It's not an issue if you maintain our neutral point of view policy. Also, cite references and sources in article other wise it may be deleted. Ayub407talk 12:46, 15 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. I'll remove the tag when I get the OTRS number. Ayub407talk 12:48, 15 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry was not my intention to delete the tag! All a bit confusion for the first time. Best I do re-work the article with respect to the neutral perspective and hope it works. How long does it normally take for the administrators to check the page and give feedback? Thanx

Please read the links which I have posted top of your talkpage. It will help you getting around here. Normally, it will take some time for admins to delete page as there are many work for them to do here. If you want to re-do your work, then blank the page. I'll place a detention tag of criteria of author's will in deletion. Once the article gets deleted, you can re-create the article using Wikipedia:Article wizard which will help you. Ayub407talk 13:15, 15 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have checked by now most of the links and I already (I hope) improved the article. I actually think that I can improve the existing one, by the time they check it, I hope that things will be in place. I would not like to start all over again.

Alright: Please note, the sources cited in the article are not reliable sources as they are self published sources. It's better if you add some news article about them. Ayub407talk 13:33, 15 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
