Welcome
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. To find out more about how to make useful contributions, take a look at the welcome page. To stay in Wikipedia, an article has to be about something notable, that is, of general interest. Click on Notability for an explanation of what that means. Also, it must give independently verifiable sources. Articles that don't meet these requirements are likely to be deleted. Follow the links below to learn more:
- To find out more about creating articles, read the Introduction, the Tutorial, and the Guide to creating your first article.
- You should not write articles about yourself, your band, or your best friend - that's a conflict of interest.
- Wikipedia is not a place to publish your own opinions: we have a strict policy of no original research.
- For experiments, please use the sandbox.

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}
" template to the article Into the Land of the Lost, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}}
template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. BJBot (talk) 21:44, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
Hi. I did not actually nominate it for deletion (or decide the reasoning); I simply go through all of the old Prodded articles and delete them. Either way, after looking at the deleted article, it was a book review, which we don't have here (we're trying to build a neutral encyclopedia). Regards, jj137 (talk) 21:23, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
