Fair use rationale for Image:Daniel agger.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Daniel agger.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:21832b7766544a10b5d5030e2f8e40de henryt.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:21832b7766544a10b5d5030e2f8e40de henryt.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Soxπed Ninety Three | tcdb 16:38, 9 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unless you took this photo yourself or have the photographer's permission, just putting the GNU template in there is inappropriate. I like the photo better than the other one as well, but it simply cannot be used without the proper clearances. — TAnthonyTalk 18:47, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

please also stop changing the goals to 5 -- he hasn't scored 5 league goals; the infobox pertains to league apps/goals only. Chensiyuan (talk) 05:52, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image:800px-Daniel Agger.jpgt listed for deletion

[edit]

An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:800px-Daniel Agger.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. 98.204.112.111 (talk) 14:10, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

FYI, there's nothing wrong with the image - it's just that there's a higher-scale version on Wikimedia Commons, and since you didn't actually take the photograph, you can't license it as self-made. Cheers! --98.204.112.111 (talk) 15:16, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
