October 2016[edit]

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Out of This Club, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 07:23, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Speakerboxxx/The Love Below. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Jim1138 (talk) 07:45, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did with this edit to Idlewild (Outkast album). Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Jim1138 (talk) 07:56, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You need to wp:cite a wp:reliable source when you add/remove/change a genre. Your own interpretation is wp:original research and should not be used on Wikipedia. See help:referencing for beginners and help:footnotes. Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 07:58, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Apology[edit]

My apology on reverting you and the warning. Please let an editor (such as me) know if they blundered. I would recommend leaving a message under their warning on your talk page.
{{ping|Jim1138}} - your message - ~~~~ (leave out the nowiki stuff) Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 08:08, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

"Genre warrioring"[edit]

Wikipedia drives me nuts. I revert and ask for a reference and see this Hip hop is not in either source, BTW. wp:genre warrior Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 08:27, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
