Speedy deletion nomination of Audio Science Review (ASR)[edit]

Hello Loudb,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Audio Science Review (ASR) for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Request reason:

Caught by a colocation web host block but this host or IP is not a web host. My IP address is 220.233.36.191. I am in Melbourne Australia. I just used 2 services to check my IP address. One (https://whatismyipaddress.com) gives the correct address. The other (https://www.whatismyip.com) gives an IP address os 1.1.1.1! Which is clearly bogus! That puts me in HK, and I am not there. I believe this block is incorrect and the result of some IP address lookup SNAFU

Decline reason:

The first IP address you give is not blocked. I doubt the second is your IP address. In any event, you will need to turn off your VPN/proxy, clear your browser's cache, and wait 24 hours to edit. 331dot (talk) 09:53, 17 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

So how do I overcome this? I am not using a VPN. I connect directly to my ISP - Exetel.com.au. This must be something that they are doing? How do I move through this for Wikipedia? I used to edit pages from work, but now I'm working from hime... I cannot be the first person this has happened to.

I have sent you a note about a page you started[edit]
