I am far from being done with this page, obvious. What is so derogatory in the text that you think the whole page should be deleted?
Speedy deletion nomination of User:Luis4012/sandbox
[edit]A tag has been placed on User:Luis4012/sandbox requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. I see what you did.
[edit]My page, totally unedited and not ready for review, had a lot of text in the first person. I read the policy and no, I had no intention of building a blog. Serious, you should of sent em a message first, or some type of warning, instead of deleting my page. Luis4012 (talk) 14:26, 20 July 2017 (UTC)Luis4012
How can I contest something that you clearly deleted without letting me know what I did wrong?
[edit]You deleted my page Luis4012 without giving me the opportunity to correct any discrepancies. I was in the midst of adding more citations and removing some text. You did not even give me time to come into work this morning to fix it. What gives? What policy am I violating? I was clearly adding sources, photos, ect. Why did you delete? Now I have to start all over again with know what the hell I did wrong. Can I get the deleted page back so that I can change the text? I really took time building it, and for you to delete without warning is totally unfairLuis4012 (talk) 14:27, 20 July 2017 (UTC)Luis4012

[edit]Hi, and thanks for your message on my talk page. I did not delete your page, although I did nominate it for deletion. I did this for a couple of reasons. First, wikipedia is not for writing about yourself. Please read through the conflict of interest notice below carefully. Second, wikipedia is not a free web-hosting service or social media site. Biographies should only be written by people who meet wikipedia's notability criteria, should be done so in a neutral way, use independent, reliable sources, and be written by non-connected editors. If you truly believe what you had contributed meets those criteria, then you can ask to have the content you had added "refunded" by going to this page: WP:REFUND and explain why you think it should be. Thank you Melcous (talk) 22:28, 20 July 2017 (UTC)
Conflict of interest editing
[edit]Hello, Luis4012. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:
- avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
- instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
- when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. Melcous (talk) 22:28, 20 July 2017 (UTC)
