Dower, Edit reversal[edit]

Please see WP:RS and WP:WPNOTRS. Other articles on wikipedia is not a reliable support for wikipedia articles. Adding something major to the lead of an article is inappropriate, unless it is discussed in the main article (see WP:LEAD). Your claim that dower and mahr are different in how they are treated at death and divorce is refuted by many sources, for example, The American and English Encyclopedia of Law, Volume 2, edited by James Cockcroft et al. Please see reply to your comments on the article page. Also let me answer a few minor points here which perhaps will give to time for reflection in that you seem to jump the gun. Example of predate and pre-date; the reason for me changing that is probably because you do not get predate underlined in red meaning an error which is what happens on my page, may be you are American and you have set up for US English; another is Arabic Jahez next to which I put (cf. Mahr) - you commented that it is not the same - I know that, that is why I used cf. and put it in brackets. The lead summarizes the main article, which had that data and cites. But, I went ahead and added the cite you requested.
