Welcome

[edit]

Hello, MBerkshire52 and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students. Go through our online training for students

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one please tell your instructor about that. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and aid your communication with them.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! Kleuske (talk) 14:56, 11 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Geliophilia's Talk Message

[edit]

Greetings MBerkshire52! I didn't even think to do my wiki-bio in a similar format one might see on a notable figure, with subjects like "Early Life" and "Education" -- smart! Might need to take a page from your book ...

Your potential topics seem interesting, particularly the Rube Goldberg Machine Contest. I published mine before I realized that I hadn't completed all of the tasks, so will need to go back in and add them. Best of luck in your endeavors! -- Geliophilia (talk) 21:18, 14 July 2018 (UTC)Geliophila[reply]

I appreciate your userpage because it can be used as an example of how a Wiki page should look. I wanted to let you know that I find your hobbies fascinating and have been wanting to learn more about archery. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vin vc (talkcontribs) 21:22, 14 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Typos on your user page

[edit]

Hello. You have a few typos/misspellings on your user page: "liviing" "kindergarden" spelled with a t, and "extra cirricular" spelled extracurricular. I would have edited them for you but it's not my user page so I can't. I also live in Roselle and went to Lake Park! I hope you enjoyed it there. Good luck in this class.
