Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! --Demiurge1000 (talk) 06:22, 11 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Refs

[edit]

WP:MEDRS gives guidance on what type of refs are needed. We do not typically use primary sources but review articles and secondary sources. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) (if I write on your page reply on mine) 23:25, 11 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Edelman

How do you know so much about Edelman? - 2001:558:1400:10:8025:343C:EF2E:7119 (talk) 16:05, 2 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page IL-8. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Vani Hari, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Andy Dingley (talk) 11:56, 5 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

BLP infringement. Surprised you don't know about it. MLPainless (talk) 13:28, 5 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Atrazine

[edit]

Please take a look at the WHO report I added and make sure I reported it out accurately. Its pretty complicated stuff. Thanks. Formerly 98 (talk) 03:17, 8 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The problem I have with that edit is that it cherry picks just one fact out of many. The section you added it to was "Effect on mammals", but no mention that it extremely toxic to dogs (cardiac), disrupts the HPA axis in rats, may be carcinogenic in rats, may be harmful to humans because "alterations in neurotransmitter and neuropeptide function regulating LH and secretion of prolactin may potentially induce adverse effects during critical periods of development", and much more. That edit should be enlarged, or excluded. The paper is not exculpatory of atrazine. MLPainless (talk) 03:37, 8 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
