Blocked for sockpuppetry

[edit]

Hello Jimmy

I have seen that I have been blocked.

I saw your reasoning, however I do have a couple of things I want to clear with yourself.

I have noted that I've only been blocked for a week and I would like to ask if after the week has ended will I be able to make the page again.

You see I am a bit hurt as I first had the idea to make the page, quite admittedly by myself, however I did agree with your policy it was quite biased to do that. Therefore, after consulting with friends from university, I asked a friend who studies journalism to make the Wikipedia page for me, it was indeed her literature on the page.

After it was denied, she attempted reaching out to the reviewer on my account and she had no response. Her work was just deleted, without any reason as to why. We attempted reaching out and finding out more about why it was deleted and how we may be able to improve it, but again no response.

Please between me and you you'll be able to state what improvements can made, whilst also not deleting it all, as I believe she spent a lot of time on that.

That's precisely what I was trying to ask. I wanted to ask the person reviewing the page, what they thought, how can it be improved, ext. I expected something constructive, not just a list for speedy deletion with absolutely minimal information as to why or what I can do to stop it.

Sorry if I've got your name wrong, Macaulay Nichol (talk) 21:00, 25 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • It was far too promotional, also articles on politicians are not usually accepted until they attain high office which in the UK would be an MP or Mayor of London or Birmingham. County councillors are not included unless they are unusually notable, regards Atlantic306 (talk) 21:49, 25 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for getting back to me. Sorry for the inconvenience I may have caused, having you tell me precisely what was wrong was much more progressive as before hand I had absolutely no idea what was wrong. Thank again
