Speedy deletion of John Bentley (Entrepreneur)[edit]

A tag has been placed on John Bentley (Entrepreneur) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you.  -- BeezHive (talk|contribs) 04:19, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

External links spamming[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Stephen Suleyman Schwartz do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. WLU (t) (c) Wikipedia's rules:simple/complex 12:48, 18 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Stephen Suleyman Schwartz. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. WLU (t) (c) Wikipedia's rules:simple/complex 20:13, 18 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Stephen Suleyman Schwartz. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.

In particular, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. WLU (t) (c) Wikipedia's rules:simple/complex 01:00, 19 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Timothy Winter[edit]

Hello, I hope you are well. I have nothing against the points you are making (and nothing at all against Tim Winter), but you need to cite neutral, third-party sources. Citing Timothy Winter himself, or his website (or one affiliated with him), violates the Wikipedia guidelines on neutrality. Two good sets of Wikipedia guidelines that I have found really useful can be found HERE and HERE. Please follow the guidelines to prevent your edits being reverted. I'm happy to advise further, and even to assist you. My regards, George Custer's Sabre (talk) 11:03, 12 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Navid Akhtar, a page you created, has not been edited in at least 180 days. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 17:19, 20 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Majhul. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Navid Akhtar".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Navid Akhtar}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 01:05, 22 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
