Unspecified source for Image:Ajit Jogi.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Ajit Jogi.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 10:41, 2 April 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sherool (talk) 10:41, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Ajit jogi.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Ajit jogi.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Salavat 15:15, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image tagging for Image:Scan_0013.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Scan_0013.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Thank you for uploading Image:Ajit Jogi.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. Replaceable fair use Image:Ajit Jogi.jpg[edit]

Replaceable fair use
Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Ajit Jogi.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? J Milburn (talk) 21:04, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Multiple issues[edit]

Firstly, I have removed your additions on Rahul Gandhi. The infobox criteria for "office" refers to a governmental official post held by the politician and not his post in the political party. Also make sure you use proper sources while referencing your information.

Secondly, I notice you have uploaded multiple images with incorrect or unspecified copyright status. This would almost definitely lead to their deletion. Make sure you refer to Wikipedia's image upload policies to understand criteria for images that can be uploaded and what sort of details need to be given.

Thirdly, user page articles are means of communication with other editors, and I think your page kind of misses this point and might be a violation.

Please rectify your aforementioned errors. Thanks and happy editing. LeaveSleaves (talk) 02:20, 23 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Despite my earlier notice you continue to add information on the said article. Please stop these nonconstructive edits. LeaveSleaves (talk) 21:59, 23 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Um, thanks for the link? :-)[edit]

Not quite sure what to make of this. I'm going to guess (and forgive me if I'm wrong) that it's got to do with a bunch of red links I removed from a list earlier today, is that right? Red linked names on lists of 'notable' people are kind of a problem area - they're harder to verify, for a start, and they tend to encourage every passing editor put their Mom/best friend/Next door neighbor on the list. If you think Ms. Shergil is notable, it'd be great for you to write a cited article on her and re-add her! -- Vary | Talk 21:39, 23 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop reverting me. Not only is it considered extremely impolite to revert without comment, (and vandalise user-talk pages for that matter) but the content is unsourced (contrary to our policies on verifiability, original research and reliable sources, and, as some of the information is negative, contrary to our policy on biographies of living people- which is very important) and a lot of it is extremely trivial (see WP:UNDUE and WP:TRIVIA). You're also undoing some of the formatting fixes I have made- see the manual of style. The image is blatantly non-free, and it's use contravenes our non-free content guidelines, and the fact you are trying to claim it is free is very worrying. I also advise you to bare in mind that we have what is known as the three revert rule. J Milburn (talk) 13:42, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you have sources, cite them clearly. If you add back that unsourced 'controversy' section again, I will block you for violations of our policy on biographies of living people. J Milburn (talk) 13:47, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You've failed to heed J Milburn's warning about BLP. I've blocked you for 48 hours to prevent more harm done. Maxim () 13:53, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You have just been blocked for failing to discuss changes, choosing to edit war instead, and ignoring our policies on living people, non-free content, sourcing, trivial information and formatting. As soon as you come back, you start reverting again. I ask you to stop, now. If you continue in this way, you will find yourself blocked permanently. I ask you to instead discuss proposed changes on the article talk page. J Milburn (talk) 13:39, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Blocked again, this time for a week. You've been repeatedly asked to respect our policy on biographies of living people and editwarring. If you persists after the block expires, the next block will be indefinite. Maxim () 14:03, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bokaro Steel City[edit]

Hi,

The CISF conflict is not such a big chapter of history of bokaro. Most of the younger generation has never heard of it. Others have heard it from the parents. If you want to extend it, please do so in the separate article CISF conflict at Bokaro created for the same. Please have a neutral POV on this issue. --Sandyiit (talk) 16:11, 2 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That reversion was completely unwarranted. The article has been vastly improved- reverting to a version which has serious BLP and NPOV violations, is peppered with deleted images and does not have the AfD notice is completely unacceptable- especially without an edit summary. Please do not do that again. If you are unable to edit within our BLP limitations, perhaps you should recurse yourself from such controversial articles. Manu Sharma[edit]

When making changes to articles, please provide reliable sources to back up your claims- your own knowledge is not acceptable as a source. Further, if you are personally involved in a case, it is recommended that you avoid editing the subject matter. It is also worth noting the policy regarding biographies of living people. Finally, it is strongly reccomended that you do not make use of legal language on Wikipedia- Wikipedia has a strict policy against legal threats, and any legalese could be construed as a legal threat. If you have any questions, you are welcome to contact me on my talk page. J Milburn (talk) 20:41, 20 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you believe I am being "personally malicious", you are welcome to raise the issue with me on my talk page. If you want to make controversial edits to biographies of living people, please learn to cite your sources in a standard way. Further, if you are at all involved in the case, I would strongly reccomend that you do not become involved in the editing of the article, as you may have a serious conflict of interest regarding the issue. J Milburn (talk) 21:22, 20 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Look, learn to cite your sources and learn to respect our policy regarding the biographies of living people, or do not contribute. Be warned- if you revert again, you will be blocked for a violation of the three revert rule. J Milburn (talk) 21:32, 20 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please take this time to read and understand Wikipedia's requirements for editors, and to learn to use the talk page to achieve consensus rather than reverting and hurling accusations at editors who are following policy. I've unblocked you, and offer my sincere apology for misunderstanding the circumstances concerning Manu Sharma. I understand your frustration with referencing standards, and ask that you request help in such circumstances. An edit summary along the lines of "I'm having trouble with a reference, please help", along with a discussion on the article talk page would yield a better article and a positive experience for you as well. Again, I am sorry for the misunderstanding in this matter. Acroterion (talk) 12:03, 21 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think you're extremely lucky to be getting another chance. Read the policies linked above, and don't expect to get away with such blatant violations of them (specifically, copyvios, refusing to cite sources on a BLP and edit warring) again. I am going to be watching your edits in the future, and I will not hesitate to block you if you again defile the encyclopedia. J Milburn (talk) 22:15, 21 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

As India is a world power and Kennedy had vowed to eliminate organized crime along with Nehruji of India ,both were killed on religiously significant dates-22 and 27.Islamic terrorism was fought over by Chattrapati Shivaji in India and his birth date is 1627.so number 27 was used. Both was for criminal intidimation. The Builder mafis in India along with many corporates are in league with this crime especially against women and children,as women are the upkeepers of religion and culture in a household in India. It is not new as General Dyer (symbolic to men who dye their hair and get married in old age to convert to Islam, subsequently Arya Samaj in India) ,on 13th April 1919 ,had killed many people in the well of Jallian wala bagh in Amritsar. This crime is patent of the Britishers who came to India as East India company ,and the country was betrayed by the menial class as well as people who use them for money-the Banias and Jains-merchant class. Ajit jogi’s car accident was in league with this list of crimes and it would be relevant to let these images remain for the welfare of humanity.

Last warning for copyright violations[edit]

If you continue to force copyright violations into articles, or upload any non-free material here as your own work, you will be blocked from editing. The tone of Wikipedia is neutral, not for or against anything- "heinous crime" or otherwise. The only edits I have made to that article are to remove unreferenced material (QuoteDaddy is not a reliable source, as I have said) and remove copyright violations. You have continued to force copyright violations into the page, which is not acceptable, and you have been given a last warning not to do that. I am therefore blocking your account indefinitely. You have not aided the encyclopedia in any way with your edit warring, copyright violations and refusal to accept our guidelines on sourcing.
