Hey, Manishthapa, welcome to Wikipedia! I'm excited you decided to join us here and want to give you a couple of (hopefully) helpful hints:

I hope you enjoy it here and decide to stay. - ElAmericano 14:09, 8 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Internal Conflicts Commission, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://soc.kuleuven.be/pol/ipra/about/commissions/intconf.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 20:31, 29 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Internal Conflicts Commission requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. -- Shadowlynk (Talk) 20:32, 29 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Internal Conflicts Commission. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. -- Shadowlynk (Talk) 20:42, 29 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

You should wait for others to write an article about subjects in which you are personally involved, as you did at Manish Thapa. This applies to articles about you, your achievements, your band, your business, your publications, your website, your relatives, and any other possible conflict of interest.

Creating an article about yourself is strongly discouraged. If you create such an article, it might be listed on articles for deletion. Deletion is not certain, but many feel strongly that you should not start articles about yourself. This is because independent creation encourages independent validation of both significance and verifiability. All edits to articles must conform to Wikipedia:No original research, Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, and Wikipedia:Verifiability.

If you are not "notable" under Wikipedia guidelines, creating an article about yourself may violate the policy that Wikipedia is not a personal webspace provider and would thus qualify for speedy deletion. If your achievements, etc., are verifiable and genuinely notable, and thus suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later. (See Wikipedia:Wikipedians with articles.) Thank you. A More Perfect Onion (talk) 21:22, 29 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Manish Thapa

[edit]

I have nominated Manish Thapa, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Manish Thapa. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Shadowjams (talk) 21:25, 29 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Manish Thapa, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. William Avery (talk) 21:35, 29 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to Manish Thapa. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. - Jameson L. Tai talkguestbookcontribs 21:37, 29 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Manish Thapa. - Jameson L. Tai talkguestbookcontribs 21:41, 29 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you remove Articles for deletion notices or comments from articles and Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Manish Thapa, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. - Jameson L. Tai talkguestbookcontribs 21:44, 29 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Internal Conflicts Commission

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Internal Conflicts Commission, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

non-notable commission

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. License tagging for File:In TV Paul's Office.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:In TV Paul's Office.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 12:08, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
