Printenv
[edit]I don't think this page should be deleted as it is part of a catalogue of Unix commands. Watermellonman 16:27, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
- I'm sorry if that was a legitimate article, it didn't really seem intelligible to anyone who isn't already an expert on unix. Maybe you should put it inside an article about unix commands.--Mars2035 03:05, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
WHAT?
[edit]Im confused, i have seen countless amounts of unuseful info! I never ment vandalism! i was just having a little fun! i never ment anything bad! You cannot edit ANYTHING on any other website...
- Thank you for your contributions to wikipedia, but some of them are considered vandalism. If you don't want your contributions to be removed, you should add legitimate information to articles or create articles about subujects which you understand, being sure to cite sources. Also, you should sign your name on talk pages using the signature button at the top of the edit window. Thanks--Mars2035 03:02, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
Your VandalProof Application
[edit]Thank you for your interest in VandalProof, Mars2035. As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact the just released 1.3 version has even more power. Because of this we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. The reason for this is that:
You do not yet have enough edits in the main namespace.
Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again soon. Thank again for your interest in VandalProof. Ale_Jrbtalk 09:42, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
My Deleted Article
[edit]Hey, my article is relative information but my english is pretty poor, would u mind rewriting it from the reference i left. Its popularity is as widespread as the shotgun rule which is already on wikipedia.
- I'll try--Mars2035 22:54, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
Thank You
substing warnings
[edit]When using certain template tags on talk pages, don't forget to substitute with text by adding subst: to the template tag. For example, use {{subst:uw-test1}} instead of {{uw-test1}}. This reduces server load and prevents accidental blanking of the template. MKoltnow 03:54, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
why did you revert?
[edit]that recently added paragraph was biased. All those things DO NOT measure a "city". That is GARBAGE and it WILL come down! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.75.18.180 (talk) 03:44, 24 April 2007 (UTC).
- I reverted your edit because the section you deleted looked ok. If you don't think so, maybe you should improve it.--Mars2035 03:46, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
The whole thing was added TODAY! Having a zoo, a medical school, a train, and a baseball team are not measures of being a city. It is not okay. It is insulting. I live here, and no one calls us a "giant suburb". That entire paragraph has no merit, so it cannot be improved upon. If you revert it again, I will dispute. Northeastern cities in the united states DO NOT define what a city is.
- I am definitely not going to revert again. Maybe I did revert your edit too quickly. Feel free to delete the paragraph again if you think that's best.--Mars2035 23:09, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image (Image:PlasmaWeapon.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:PlasmaWeapon.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 21:45, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Template:Mytest
[edit]A tag has been placed on Template:Mytest requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.
If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).
Thanks. --MZMcBride (talk) 22:42, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry about that, I was trying to figure out how the whole template thing works.--Mars2035 (talk) 01:05, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Tour Bus article
[edit]Hey there. I noticed that you had a bit of a time with The Tour Bus Radio Network today. I eviscerated all the nonsense, and tagged it appropriately. I wanted to mention, however, that you should perhaps look a little more at the big picture - this was clearly spam, you are right. But the subject is notable and deserves inclusion in Wikipedia. So, with a minute or two of editing, we now have a (very short) article about a notable subject, or at least a starting place. Deletion of spam articles is good, but if they can be improved, even better. Just food for thought, take it as you will. Tan | 39 07:03, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:CMAInsignia.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:CMAInsignia.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. A new task force - ESA
[edit]Hello,
I've noticed that you are active in the area of space exploration. I just wanted to let you know that a European Space Agency task force has been set up to improve the presently very poor condition of articles about ESA and related topics. If you are interested, please join the task force here. We sure could use your help. Thanks.U5K0 (talk) 11:30, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
