OR[edit]

OR = Original Reserach. The problem is that you're examining the evidence yourself and drawing your own conclusions. This is not the purpose of an encyclopaedia, but is the purpose of scholarly research papers. WilyD 19:12, 15 June 2007 (UTC) The short answer is "yes". See WP:RS for more on where information and ideas should come from for articles. WilyD 19:21, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, you're right, some of the stuff still there looks problematic. Conservapedia can be used as a source in certain circumstances (for example, for a statement of policy or purpose this is sensible), but you can't use your own observations of conservapedia to advance new conclusions. The "trouble holding the line" stuff looks bad at first glance, for example, the number of sysops doesn't. WilyD 17:33, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know why I have been blocked[edit]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Caught by a colocation web host block but this host or IP is not a web host. My IP address is 192.168.0.3. I have not violated any Wikipedia policies.

Decline reason:

That IP address is that of your home network and not the one you use to connect to the internet. If your actual IP does not appear in the message that comes up when you attempt to edit, you can determine it via a tool such as whatismyip dot com, or googling "what is my IP". 331dot (talk) 07:54, 17 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
